Hunt the Moon by Karen Chance – Book Review

     The blurb says…
“Cassandra Palmer recently defeated a god, which you’d think would buy a girl a little time off. But it doesn’t work that way when your job description is Pythia-the world’s chief clairvoyant. Cassie is busier than ever, trying to learn about her power, preparing for her upcoming coronation, and figuring out her relationship with the enigmatic sexy master vampire, Mircea.”

This is the fifth in the series and they really need to be read in order and even then it can be tricky to keep up. The action starts from the first word and there is no let up through the whole book! I’m exhausted just reading it and I’m thinking one of the men in her life needs to give her more than just ‘one night out of time’ if you know what I mean! The good thing is that Mircea is being his usual high handed vampyness. Pritkin does manage to get in there too and for some reason I didn’t feel like slapping Cassie as much as I usually do over the men in her life.

But the best bit is that we find out more details about her Mum and Dad which was so sweet and it ends perfectly set up for the next romp – through hell this time instead of time, but no doubt it will still be the expected fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants style we’re used to.
