Science-Fiction Fantasy Saturday

Long time no see πŸ™‚ It has been a fun packed time since I last joined SFFS, but here I am with a new snippet to share with you all. This is from my newly released short story, Foul is Fair which is free to download from the usual suspects.

I sat on the balcony and slid my legs under the railing, leaving them to dangle above the writhing mass on the dance floor. My heavy boots swung like pendulums to the bass line while I frowned at my client cruising at the bar. My problem wasn’t that he was a vamp, or that he was gay. I didn’t like him because he was a politician.

I hope you liked it πŸ™‚ Why not pop over and download your free copy?

Foul is Fair is also available from:

Or a Goodreads add would be nice πŸ˜€

  1. Took a minute to find the comment button, since there wasn’t yet a number. Good stuff…could definitely picture the setting. Also made me chuckle with the last line, which is always great. πŸ™‚

    • There are things I’m not mad about with this theme, but I’m a compulsive theme-changer so it will probably be easier to find next Saturday. Thank you for your kind comments πŸ™‚

  2. Bought, reviewed, added to GR. Just haven’t bought the teeshirt, yet. πŸ˜›

Love the introduction, and particularly the last line. I’d rather be faced with a vampire one (sparkles optional) than a politician! πŸ˜€

  3. Oh, BTW t-shirts are easy. Jut get iron-on transfer sheets and reverse the cover image with your computer. I made them for both my books, at least for myself. Might even try selling the tote bags.

  4. Like it? I loved it! Got a great look into your world and am going to very happily download FOUL IS FAIR. Fantastic! Love the voice, setting and use of details.
